My Experiences
St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School
During my first semester of university I got an opportunity to be apart of a classroom, I was really excited to do some hands on work in my first semester. I was really nervous on my first day but then from there it became to feel more like home. I gained many new relationships during my time there, being with other teachers but mostly being with students. I really enjoyed my time at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School the teachers and students were very welcoming and respectful, I’m happy I got the opportunity to attend their school.
Jack MacKenzie School
During my first semester of university I also took on the role of voluntering every Thursday mornings at 10:30 am with a young boy with some personal issues. I was really nervous to take on this role because I have never done anything like this before. As the time went by I grew to love working with the young boy and getting to know him. I really realized a lot about myself during this experience, that even though it was out of my comfort zone I learned to love it! I am hoping i continue to get the chance to volunteer at Jack MacKenzie School because I really enjoy it!
I have enjoyed every experience I have had in the Education field so far and I feel there are many more to come!
